What’s included in my purchase?

How long will it take to create a book?

It's up to you! Most Storytellers get it done within a month (some have created the book in a weekend!).

Each interview is normally around 10 min. This will produce a chapter of around 2-4 pages. A 100 page book will therefore require around 30 ten minute interviews.

Can multiple people create a book together, for example my grandparents?

Yes, it is possible for multiple people to create one book together.

Can photos be added?

Yes. No book is complete without photos and there are no restrictions on how many you can add! If you go over the page limit of 250 pages we charge an additional 50 cents per extra page. That’s just to cover the extra printing cost. As a guide, most books end up around 100 pages.

What's the cost of additional books?

Your initial purchase includes the first hardcover book designed, printed & delivered. In addition, we’ll provide a digital e-book at no extra charge to make it easy to share the final book with friends and family over email.

If you wish to order additional copies, they can be purchased for $69 per book

Does 100 Tales work in languages other than English?

No, right now we only offer our services in English. We hope to be able to expand our offerings soon.

Can I write a chapter manually?

Yes, you can do voice interviews about certain topics and you can also manually add chapters that you can write about other topics. Our platform is very flexible.

Will my stories be kept private?

Yes. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our datacenter, which means we benefit from some of the most comprehensive security practices and compliance certifications that exist.

We never share any of your interviews, chapters or photos to third party services.

We do not allow any of the data, including interviews, to be used to train the AI-models we use.

3 months after you are done with your project all of the data will be deleted from our servers. You can at any time contact us, and request for all data to be deleted.

You own the full rights to the books you create using 100 Tales.
